Been keeping creative over Christmas by making labels for my dads home made wine, He made loads to give away as presents so I lent a helping hand with the finishing touches by making and sticking these!

I ended up making wheatpaste to stick them on, which worked perfectly (the bubbles shrunk back when the paper dried).

Super pleased with these, cant wait for people to get them!

TEA BAGGIN

Today I fulfilled a life long dream by making this short stop motion 'Tea Baggin'

I made it with my friends Becky and Jonny from my course, and we made it all today, I'm super stoked on the outcome, and hopefully this is the first of many stop motions that I'll make.

HANDS

Some new work I've done, trying to broaden my horizons drawing-wise, I'm totally obsessed with old tattoo flash since I watched this episode of tattoo age with Dan Santoro, I'm also pretty tired of using Photoshop to colour everything I do, sometimes its effective and necessary, but other times it feels way less authentic than colouring by hand, plus all I'm left with for an original piece is a piece of line work, it gets boring.

Anyway I cracked out the colouring pencils for these various tattooed hand drawings, it's going to be an ongoing series, I might do some negative hand signs seeing as these are all positive, maybe even other body parts.

Might even start just drawing the tattoos on their own, I really want to make a zine of tattoo flash, not just for a zine but also for if someone wants something to look through and actually get it tattooed on them, that would be so rad.

Anyway, I've also been wheatpasting these hands around my town, I put them up a week ago and they are still standing now! crazy, I put some in really obvious places too. Seem to have lost the battery for my camera but hopefully I will borrow someones soon, and put some pictures up.

DINOSAUR JR

Absolutely obsessed with Dinosaur Jr lately, to the point where some days they are the only band I listen to.

I'd also recommend listening to 'See You' it's my favourite song by them.

Really jealous of US people because they're playing the Weezer Cruise which looks freaking amazing.

GUNK

I dont usually do that much stuff with characters but lately I've been playing around with the idea of making a comic about a small wizard who is made entirely out of his own beard.

His name is Gunk

A short while ago I also decided to have a little go at animation, by that I mean I literally just tore up pieces of paper to be slides and drew a little sequence over each one, pretty pleased with how it looks!
